GD2 is excited to welcome presenter Andi from Indianapolis for their discussion on the politics of gender and radical sexuality.

From the boundary crossing work of Cynthia Slater and the Society of Janus, to the radical essays (not to mention earth shaking erotica) of Patrick Califia, to Courtney Trouble and Jiz Lee’s queer and feminist porn that’s reforming the industry one gushing orgasm at a time, our sex has always been political. Conversely, sexual liberation and gender revolution are essential pieces of progressive ideology and social justice activism. Lets talk here about the power of working in the subversive space where smashing the patriarchy and kneeling for Daddy overlaps.

Andi is a switchy, swishy, cigar smoking leather genderqueer. Based in Indianapolis, they are a co-founder of CIQ: Central Indiana Queers. Andi has either presented and/or spoken on panels at Leather Reign, Great Lakes Leather Alliance, Indiana Leather Pride, Labor Day Libertine, GLLA-Michigan, Indiana University, and Herron School of Art and Design discussing feminism in art, trans and non-binary identities, relationship anarchy and next generation leather. An avid reader, they are always eager to lend books and share resources.

Andi puts their love of drawing to use designing promo materials and custom pieces for burlesque, leather, queer, and kink events and fundraisers. Andi’s hot buttons include: knives, humiliation, gender outlaws, brutal, filthy fucking, and John Water’s levels of unapologetic camp.
