Every month, people just like you come out to GD2 to mix and mingle, become familiar with our space and learn more about GD2, themselves, and others.

The event draws friendly, engaging people from all over Chicago’s alternative communities.

GD2’s Newcomers Social: Meet & Greet and More is part open house, part meet & greet.

As an open house, it’s an opportunity to see GD2 in the light of day in a no pressure, no play setting. There is an optional guided tour followed by a Q&A session, so come check out our space and equipment and find out all you want to know about GD2.

As a meet & greet, there is mixing and mingling for the full 2 hours, so our socials are a great place to meet others. We provide an exceptional, comfortable environment for socializing, whether you are completely new and curious, already adventurous, or have years of experience.
