With several different events, Rope Bite is a great event for those both new and experienced to rope bondage.
This event is for rope enthusiasts of all styles and skill levels to gather, share tips and practice. Whether you are new to rope or an international presenter this party is for you! Our event format supports social interaction and specific tracks for learning:
Meet and greet! – 8:30p
Flip through the Rope Bite Chicago Library of Bondage books, check out our sample rope kits or just socialize.
Specific Interest Breakouts – 9:00p
- Bottoms Up! – A focused discussion for people who want to be tied. All sorts of questions are welcome and you can expect topics like how to select a partners, how to build body awareness, how to check for basic nerve and sensation warning signals, and communication tips to be covered.
- Rope FUNdamentals – New to tying? Start here! This breakout guides participants through some rope basics that can immediately be used, mixed and matched to create fulfilling scenes.
- Tech progression – Discuss ways to enhance your rope practice once you move past the single column tie. This is the place to talk about different postures, tying patterns or upcoming events.
- Free Form Lab- For competent tiers and bottoms who just want to get the ropes out!
Open lab/Social and Scene time – 10p until close
While this is a rope-oriented event, GD2 welcomes and encourages all manner of scenes and kink. No matter where your preferences lie, come out and get kinky! Rope Bite Chicago has a FetLife Group where you can learn more.
Gather under the main suspension frame in Serenity. Other hardpoints will be available throughout the club for play.
